Book Direct with the Owner at Quilpie Heritage Inn with Restaurants Sydney in Quilpie to get the best deal.
The Quilpie Heritage Inn, formerly known as the Quilpie Hotel is located in the main Street of Quilpie in the East Channel Country in Queensland. One of the only two storey buildings in town it was originally built in 1921, destroyed by fire in 1925, and rebuilt in 1926 by local identity Jimmy Corones. Today it is often, affectionately referred to by the locals as ‘The Brick’.
This recently renovated building has many original features including pressed tin ceilings in the restaurant, reception area, dining hall and first floor landing, Cyprus timber flooring and grand stairwell chandelier. The façade is unchanged. This historical building, the amenities, quality of service and food combined has been described as an ‘oasis’ amongst the dirt and dust of the west Queensland outback, and once you have discovered this little gem, they hope that you will, one day, come back.
Their chef takes great pride in sourcing fresh ingredients, and serving beautifully presented dishes. Channel Country beef and seasoned salt and black pepper grilled Barramundi are definite favourites....
