We begin from above as we gaze upon the city of Melbourne from 88 floors high in the sky. Your guide will easily orientate you on the far reaching urban sprawl and city buildings below.

Back down to earth we begin winding our way through the labyrinth of Melbourne’s laneways and arcades stopping for coffee and a bite to eat at a hole in the wall venue shop, which is still the oldest on the strip. Let your guide explain how the laneway scene and coffee culture developed and no matter the day is always a hub of buzzing atmosphere.

As your coffee buzz sets in we visit it’s time to explore Melbourne’s world renowned street art scene. Just don’t call it “graffiti” but a trendy artistic style, which has filled the cities laneways and constantly evolving, from Murals, stencils to paste ups. Your guide will bring you to some of their personal favourites, explain how the movement has developed and visit some of the popular artists whose work adorns the buildings of Melbourne.

Be amazed at the abundance of local restaurants, cafes and boutique stores that line these inner-city laneways.

Stop At: Queen Victoria Market, Victoria Street Corner of Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 Australia

On the days the Queen Victoria Market you can choose to finish the tour here or at another location in the City Centre. At the market, your guide will orientate you through the different areas and then you will be free to explore on your own at the end of the tour. If you still need more tips, your local guide will be happy to offer up some suggestions for the rest of your stay.

    A fantastic day spent with our wonderful guide Kellie. It was great to experience some of Kellie's 'insider experiences' such as Jungle Juice in Centre Place and Geloso at Queen Victoria market. Thank you Kellie for all of the facts and stories you provided along the way about Melbourne. A great day and a tour I would recommend.

    Thank you to Tristan for showing us Melbourne from the Eureka Skydeck, art works, and Melbourne’s unique arcades. We had a delicious lunch at dumpling house in China Town and then went to Victoria Markets. We will be visiting Melbourne again and definitely hope to book another tour with Tristan.

    I so appreciated this tour. Not only was Tamara a fun and informative guide, but this tour gave us a great way to get oriented to Melbourne starting with the incredible vantage point of the Eureka Tower and moving into the fascinating laneways, arcades and amazing food this city has to offer. Met some great people and enjoyed a wonderful overview of the CBD and gained a better understanding of this amazing city and all it has to offer. Highly recommend!

    Mick was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and friendly with a good sense of fun. This tour is wonderful because it incorporates so many wonderful elements of Melbourne including food, history, architecture and art. To top it off we also got to enjoy the most wonderful dumplings for lunch in China Town. Thank you Mick for a wonderful day.

    Our guide EVAN was very knowledgeable and showed us places we hadn’t seen before 😀 The dumplings was a great way to finish our tour. Good for teens & up! We thoroughly enjoyed our urban adventure with Evan !

    Mick couldn't make it and sent Sonja in his place. She pointed out all the nice places and told us some interesting Melbourne history. Flat white coffee that she suggested was delicious. Glad that we took the time and joined this tour.
